This post shows you how to solve the problem where you can't verify your YouTube account.

This is something that lots of people are struggling with and Google doesn't seem to be acknowledging or resolving it.

The problem occurs when you try to verify your YouTube account.

It asks you to enter your phone number.

Then it gives you an error message saying

There was a problem sending a verification code to... Please enter a different phone number.

How to fix it

Type the number in the same format as it is shown in the example field and check you haven't put any spaces at the beginning.

Then you keep on clicking the verify button and eventually it will send you a text code that will work.

Keep doing that and it should work.

If it does work and you want to say thanks, then feel free to buy me a coffee and put your message in the box.
